Hands on Cooking


I’ll share the secrets of Catalan gastronomy and the stories behind our recipes in an informative, enjoyable and very entertaining cooking class!


For starters: We’ll open our appetite by preparing several boards with a selection of Iberian cold cuts and Spanish cheeses accompanied by our traditional “pa amb tomaquet” (bread soaked in tomato and olive oil). You’ll learn to cook our famous Spanish omelette, traditional “pinchos” and other surprising tapas. We’ll wash them all down with fantastic homemade sangria!


Our star dish: With the engines running, we’ll jump onto our star dish, the Paella. We’ll accompany it with some of the best Catalan wines selected by my great friend and sommelier Marta Amad and me.


To finish up: You’ll learn the technique to cook one of the traditional desserts par excellence in Catalonia: The Crema Catalana.

In the market: Immerse yourself in the life of the local person by accompanying me to one of the many fascinating traditional markets in the city of Barcelona. Together, we’ll buy all the ingredients we need to prepare the best dishes in Catalan gastronomy while contributing to the local economy.


At home: We’ll cook a delicious paella, a number of different wonderful tapas, and our star dessert, Crema Catalana.


To wash it all down: Your experience includes Sangria, fantastic Catalan wines, coffees and even traditional shots!
